I have owned BORZOI {Russian Wolfhounds} for over ten years now. I love this elegant, yet tough breed of hound.
I will be posting many pictures of Radzi registered name MELOCKOFF RADZIMIERZ DAYSPRING born at the Melockoff Kennel
in Milford Ohio http://www.melockoffborzoi.com/champions.htm to breeder Gale D. Snody. Radzi's sire is Am Ch. Melockoff Soul Man.
Radzi's dam is import from Czech Republic Anuschka od Nebeskeho rybnika, JC . http://www.phaedra-borzoi.com Anuschka and her full brother Am Ch Apollo od Nebeskeho rybnika pictures can be found at PHAEDRA.
I found Gale's puppy page in 2006 and noted that Radzi's litter shared the birth date July 19th of my first husband Grant Soles. Gale was calling this male puppy A-Rod after the baseball player...Gale kindly agreed to my calling this special Borzoi Puppy Radzimierz which in Russian means Happiness, for I wanted to remind myself to be Happy... a big Thank You Gale for also allowing me to place my Dayspring CKC kennel name on him too.
I will be posting many pictures here of Radzi and telling you about this wonderful, wonderful Hound. Pictures also of his Sire and Dam as well has his first litter born at Dayspring on June 20th 2009 of 3 and 2.
But for now here is a picture of my Handsome Hound taking BEST OF BREED gaining 4 points of the weekend at the Alberta Kennel Club August 1, 2009 under judge TODDIE CLARK of Decatur, Tennessee. Picture taken by Cathy French Photography.

Radzi is such a great gentle hound, he loves red poodle pups and he has been a great pal to many here in his three years at Dayspring. I understand from his breeder Gale Snoddy that Radzi is much like his grandsire Grozny who also loved pups...Gale was sad that Grozny passed away before getting to meet Radz's litter.
Radzi being greeted in farewell by his little pal Yuma who left soon after this picture to Germany. Radzi has been working as my Livestock Guardian, he keeps the coyotes back to the Ranch's fence lines, we own 157 acres, he ignores the deer that cross sometimes. I could not have found a better hound for this job. Radzi never chases our foals or goat kids...and even our kitties are safe with him.
Radzi taking his three sons for a stroll, Pride in the lead then Prince followed by Nicholas, picture taken when the pups were 7 weeks of age.
I'll have to sort the pictures out later, for some of the order is not correct.
More pictures to come, many more, but now I want to work on Radz's love interest Dyani's page.
